A finished the newest Noddy album cover, and just can’t wait to let everyone know that they can download the album for free (yet you can always donate!) over at Industrial Dinosaur.
Here is the mocked up artwork for the printed version as well:

Amazingly Inspiring video.
This summer I decided to try and relive some of my childhood adventures through the perspective of my niece. This set represents the beginning of my exploration into my childhood dreams and imagination as a way to escape the realities and hardships I experienced growing up, and a way to inspire. Strangely the photos ended up being all focused in parks I explored growing up. I wonder if this is because I subconsciously, and many times consciously, yearn for an escape from the concrete jungle of New York City, I don’t really know but it is always fun to experience something unexpected. Special and most grateful thanks to my magical nieces Faelynn and Tristen for joining me in my exploration.

So I was inspired to create a stop motion animated short by T. Scott, and finally got to it. The idea came to me from talking to my sister and spending time in Seattle w/ Timothy at Foster Island, oh the good life.

Is a new amazing illustrator I recently found. Check out her amazing work on her daily updated blog!
I experienced one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in New York the other day, and Nadirah recently informed me that the sky was filled with Mammatus Clouds, which apparently is a very rare occurrence in New York. Here are a few pics I snapped with my camera.
Here are a few of my latest designs and ideas for Noddy, my wonderful friend Jared’s band.
Jessica talked me into creating an obscure inspirational drawing for the Dinosaurs Fucking Robots website. So after a long bike ride up the north shore of Long Island, I enjoyed a few beers on the LIRR back to the city and drew a quick picture.

A few weeks ago I participated in a great event hosted by a friend Will Varner called Scroll Bowl where we a bunch of people came together to explore the art of scroll-storytelling. I’ll try to get a link to the video of me telling the story, but until then here are some pictures of my scroll, titled “A Scroll on Ugly”.
Also here is a quick summary of the story:
(1) A scroll on ugliness title page.
(2) All stories need a beginning and many people think that ugliness began with a fall from perfection and a forbidden apple, yet when I look back at my childhood I think Walt Disney is the real root of of my perceptions of ugliness.
(3) Yet no matter what anyone’s personal opinion is, it definitely starts with a talk about the birds and the bees.
(4) When you are done with that story, you usually end up with an ugly evil girl like this little pig hunter.
(5) Though the devil is in the details and to understand ugliness we need to talk about ugly features, like wings and claws.
(6) Mix all of that together and you get an ugly Winged Gatorlope that likes to eat little evil girls for lunch.
(7) More ugly features consist of horns and different ugly eyes and big ears.
(8) Big ears like the ones I had as a kid, aka Eric the elephant boy.
(9) Finally you get the moral of the story of ugly, embodied in this image of Micheal Jackson as a magical unicorn. We can try our hardest to buy ourselves beautiful features, but usually we end up uglier than before, and really when we look beyond appearances the only way to truly become beautiful is to create timeless pop gems that keep people dancing the night away till dawn.
